  1. Our traditions are the same as most families, Christmas, vacations, birthdays, etc.

We do not celebrate any traditions specific to adoption.

  2. We too look forward to vacations and holidays, not just our holidays but incorporating holidays and events from their culture as well.

  3. Christmas was the one we most looked forward to before we brought our son home.  Now, I would say "family time" such as vacations and holidays are probably the things we most look forward to as a family.

One of our favorite traditions is our yearly trip to the seashore.   My son's bio grandparents live close to the beach and we spend several days with them every summer enjoying each other's company, visiting the beach, going to the boardwalk, etc.  It is a great time for all.  It gives them a chance to spend time with their grandson that they don't usually get to experience on our other shorter visits.

  4. I LOVE the kids glowing faces on Christmas an d VACATIONS!-ALL you are told to do is play with your kids?  DEFINITELY!

  5. Our family vacations are my favorite memories.  Not just the big trips, but just going up north camping or spending a weekend and going to the zoo or the local amusement park.  My amom was always into going on the rides with us and doing fun and crazy things.
