  1. Parakeets live in the desert and do not get very much water.  They don't drink water as often as some other birds.  If your birds f***s still have liquid in them, then you know that he has had water to drink.  He might have gotten a drink when you weren't around.  If he is dehydrated, you can try to coax him to drink with a shower.  You can also give him fruits, which have a lot of water in them.  You can dip your finger in water and put it up by his beak and he might get some water from that.  I hope these suggestions help.

  2. Are you certain he isn't drinking?

You can always dip your finger in water and touch it to his beak, letting it dribble in.

That way you at least know he's getting SOME fluids.

  3. you should definately talk to the vet about that!

  4. If it has been two days and he is eating and pooping normally then he is probably drinking when you aren't looking.  They don't drink long or often so it is easy to miss it.  If he wasn't drinking by now he would be very dehydrated and lethargic.

  5. My parakeets like almost never drinks water. . . .Maybe he dranks water when your not looking  . . .
