PARENTS (WHO ALLOW THEIR KIDS TO DO THIS)?

I AM 16 I WAS RAISED TO ALWAYS RESPECT ELDERS AND PEOPLE JUST ABOVE ME!

WHY DO YOU SOMETIMES ALLOW YOUR KIDS TO ACT LIKE THEY OWN YOU!

I HAVE ALWAYS WONDERED THAT?

Parenting is a lot harder than it seems...When I was a teen, I thought I was going to have the perfect children with the perfect life...that is so not true!...It is the most difficult job in the world!...and I mean that!  It takes a tremendous amount of patience and energy (especially mental energy)...I consider myself a strict parent, and I expect my children to respect others, young and old...But, as a mother myself, it seems as if my child always takes his anger out on me...I think because they know we will always love them unconditionally, they think they can get away with it.  If a child is disrespectful to their parents, then the parent should do absolutely nothing for them...just food and clothing basics...that's it!...until the behavior is resolved.
