I am starting to babysit, but first I need to make a resume to give to people or post places so they know about me. I dont have much experience at all.

I have CPR and First Aid training and when I grow up I want to become a pediatrician!

What else would you like to see on my babysitting resume?!?

Thanks! =)

  1. Your ability to redirect undesirable/bad behavior.

  2. That you love children.  That you want to spend time with them reading and playing games.  That you want to help them learn and grow.  That you believe hands on experience (for the children) helps them learn best.  That you will allow  them to learn more through coloring, drawing, cutting, pasting, and painting.  That you will only encourage positive thoughts.

  3. I'm not a mom, but I know a few mommies. Here's what I've gathered. :)

References - any experience (direct or indirect) would suffice. People that can vouch for your responsibilty and maturity. Teachers, neighbors, etc. Not your mom, though: everyone knows she's partial. :)

Volunteer work - especially any with younger kids.

Contact information - as much as possible. Parents will want to make sure that they have every way of contacting you possible when it comes to their kiddies.

I am a "doggy mommy" and when I chose my pet-sitter, what appealed to me most was that she was saving the money she was making for college (she wants to be a marine biologist.). Perhaps you should elaborate on what you want to use your money for. As a kid, you have the privilege of not HAVING to work for a living, so if your money is going towards something good - like college, for example - then a parent may see your maturity through your planning skills. Heck, worked for me. :D
