well the pet swap happend to my aunt when she was 12 and now she 25 and my mom just told her like a week ago what they did and she thought this whole time that it was the same pet i think that is so funny but my aunt isnt the brightest light in the box

ugh!! NO.

We had a hampster growing up. My dad put it in one of those rolling balls for some outdoor exercize, but forgot about him. In the hot sun inside a plastic ball, he...well, you know.

He was replaced with a hampster that looked identical...but we knew...the moment he kept biting us and attacking us during feeding or play time. It was awful.

Oh God no. It&#039;s much easier to tell them. It&#039;s a good life lesson for kids. Everything dies. Unlesss..it&#039;s your fault..then do your best to find an identical one. I&#039;ve done it. And I got caught cause my son&#039;s hamster had a spot on his right leg AHH

In all honesty teaching that pets die is a good life lesson depending on if you explained it to them yet or not.

If you REALLY want to switch it though still ,

Then make sure they look EXACTLY alike and have similar personalitys. which may be hard...
