[PC] Extension Problem ?

When I rename any of my files, it tells me something about changing the extension of the file and it won't be usable .

What do I do to fix this ?

Make sure to ad .doc, .txt, .jpg or whatever was there previously. For example if you are changing name of document that is called:

mydocument.doc to myletter.doc....extension .doc must remain the same.

Also you can not use some characters. For example, if you are using date as file name or part of file names, you can use following forms:

8.22.08.doc or 8-22-08.doc

You can not use 8/22/08.doc.
