Hello Kikoksky,I saw your solution regarding CD/DVD drive (http://www.fixya.com/support/r685007-no_longer_access_cd_drive_or_dvd_drive) but wanted to ask if you would send me a description of this solution that would allow me to check to see if your recommendation is already set up on my pc. My external CD-RW/DVD drive was working for a while then I plugged it, did not use if for a while and when I plugged it back into PC, it is not working. I tried differenct USB ports, unplugging and pulling battery out of the drive, and checking the driver...all seem to have no impact. My PC can see the Drive (it appears in Win Explorer), I can Eject it from Win Explorer OR by pushing the button on the drive itself.Is there anything you can think of that would allow me to test to see if it is a hardware or software issue?Thanks - Donstewartdon@comcast.net
