PC Sound System Question?

Hello i have a "creative i-trigue 3400 mode" and the Volume control is broke. Without it the sub does not function nor does the other speakers.......

anyone know where to get a new volume control dial ..ive looked everywhere ...i dont wanna have to buy a new system because one thing doesent work thanks

You say the volume control is broken then you ask where you can get a "new volume dial"........what do you mean by that?

A dial refers to the actual k**b or hand operated fitting attached to the actual volume control which is an electronic component called a Potentiometer or "Pot" for short.

Try going to your local electronics component store like d**k smith or Radio Shack and take your  pc card with you. You may just  find either a similar part or someone who can point you where you can go to get it fixed or the part.

If the volume control is on the audio cable?  You can just change to a standard  audio cable.  It will work fine, since you're probably got stuck by a damaged volume control.

Use a standard audio cable, you'll have to use the volume control from your pc.
