PC Sound issues.?

I lost sound in all my web browsers today and I thought it might be my audio codec so I downloaded K-LITE audio codec and I got the sound back in the web browsers but the sound is of low quality, not like it was before I stumbled upon this issue.

is it that your sound has been put on mute? Check and see

double click on the volume icon in the system tray in the bottom right corner.

What kind of "poor quality" are you talking about?  Too much base or treble, low volume, scratchy, garbled?  Try restarting your computer and if the problem persists go to your hardware (device manager) find your sound card in the list and update the driver for it.  It could also be a loose connection on a speaker or the plug not completely in the computer.
