Is it possible to transfer things you have on one account to another on my laptop? I'd like to transfer the programs and other things from my administrator account to my guest account.

I'm using a Dell 1521 and running vista.

  1. Of course you can

    1rst. Enter like administrator.

Copy and paste the things from adminstrator to the guest acount.

    You can find it with:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Guest Acount\Mis documentos\

The other way: Enter like administrator and then go to control panel; users and then give to guest acount and give it administrator privileges.

Change the user to guest acount and then find the things you like from the administrator and put in this acount:

    C:\Documents and Settings\Administrator\Mis documentos\

  2. no

  3. Yes, you can.

Go to My Computer, then click on the C drive, then click "Users," and you will see a list of accounts. Click on the account folder you want.

Then open your Documents folder (in a separate window), and click and drag a file into the guest account's folder. Programs should be usable by all accounts, but if this is not the case, then you'll need to install the program in the guest account.

  4. Unless you chose 'Install for all users' when you install teh software, otherwise yuo will need to reinstall the software again.
