the games i own have worked hundreds of times before but out of nowhere they all stopped working.

they are unpacked games (means they were compacted to make them smaller in order to download them) and i tryed to re-unpack the game and it still didn't work.

i double click the launch.exe file and the screen goes black as if loading up a game then goes back to desktop..what is happening? and is their a solution?

thanks

  1. Its your PC.

  2. Have you recently installed something new, especially a video card?  If this is the case, the drivers may be incompatible. If this is the case, try downloading new drivers. If it is not the case, you can always try and do a system restore from a point in time when it previously worked..

  3. Restart your computer.

  4. corrupt files possibly.

  5. This might be lack of Hard drive memory, to many applications that are eating your cpu (like norton, this is very common) or RAM needs an upgrade

  6. Had the same problem before too

Most likely I think your graphic accelerator is disabled or shut down...

The graphic accelerator is a kind of software(I think, I'm no pro) that enable ur graphic card to function on your computer actively for application, if u huv an intel grafic card (chipset or anything Intel graphic) you should be seeing a blue square with white dots on your taskbar's extreme bottom right(next to the time)...if you don't it means the graphic media accelerator has been shut down or disabled on its own...you can find out by going on to safe made(press F8 on system startup) and see if the blue icon is there, if it's there y0ou can do a virus scan using Malwarebytes AntiMalware (takes a while)

I dunno what actually happens but this wat i did when i had same problem as u  and it worked try it!!!
