PC games for 8 year old boy- what would you recommend ?

Any ideas and It would be great if it was not so RAM hungry ;)

Obviously you don't want to listen to that other ignorant answerer.  Personally, with nearly infinite combinations, the only game needed to amuse an 8 year old is Spore Creature Creator.  At only 10 dollars and near infinite replay value, this game is sure to keep your little boy (if he's yours) interested for hours upon hours.  I let my 6 year old cousin play it and he really loves it and can't get enough of it.  A few other games I would recommend would be roller coaster tycoon (the old ones are a little easier to control along with less RAM consumption).  Also, i don't think you understand how the innards of a computer work.  RAM is the ability to run multiple functions at once.  If your computer is not very good, it's most likely due to the processing power, which runs everything in the computer.  Any way, both of these games do not consume much RAM or CPU (processor) power at all, so I would highly recommend these.

FIFA 2005 ,2006 ,07 ....,Warcraft,The Punisher(you ought to have this game it simply rocks!!!!!),Hitman Series.There is no such thing as age limit for games. It all depends on how you take it. If you take it as a game there is no problem. I have been playing Hitman since i was 10 years old. The game is rated 17+. My cousin plays Manhunt.BELIEVE ME he is only 6.
