PC gets hang and shuts down <span title="automatically...frequently..help">automatically...frequentl...</span> me????/?

my computer always gets hang then after few seconds it gets powered off......pls help me what to do????/

also i have similar problem that whenever i try to install any windows like xp,2000 or any other OS like linux also my computer gets turned off (during blue screen of dos where it is copying files. ie. initially).and i have to restart it again n again.......then i open the cover of cabinet so that more air can be thrown inside cabinet and it works then it does not turned off......is this is solution????????

how to keep my cabinet cool????/should i use some extra fan in it????

  1. i think its a hardware problem,,if u tried reformating it and still got the same problem, then its the hardware,

    ur pc config is a bit old,,


  2. Your CPU thermal paste was not applied properly, keeping cabinet cool is not same as keeping CPU cool, it is enclosed by the big heatsink that keeps it from burning.

  3. 1/ temp problem, clean fans check they work, or

    2/ram problem, remove clean terminals and refit, or

    3/ motherboard problem, throw it away and buy another.

    .

    so open it up, clean fans heat sinks, and ram terminals

    and try again.

  4. look setup new windows. and change the Date cable between  the CD Room. and the motherbored  and also the hard disk data cable .and Remove the Ram and try to clean the golden bar in the Ram and good luck.

  5. if you open the cover and the problem goes away, most likely you need to buy thermal paste and apply it to your processor. you need to remove the fan of the processor then apply thermal paste. then if there are still available slots for additional cpu fans then buy and add more fans.
