it all depends on what you are going to use it for.  i use pc mostly because i game.  if you arent big on pc gaming you would probably be best with a mac.  they work just as well or even excel in every other category and are much more secure than pcs.  the only downside to macs is they are a little overpriced...you can get a pc with the same hardware specs as a mac for much cheaper.
