  1. My LCD HD tv has a VGA port in the back. All i needed to do was buy a 5 dollar Male/Male Cable and i was set

  2. HELLO, EARTH: THE CONNECTED HOME . . . the "THX" they were using was Thanks(THX) lol not THX as in Lucas Sound THX, LOL

The answer if your video card does not support S-Video, you'll need to replace it or purchase a Scan Converter.  They start at around $50.00(US) from Tiger-Direct.com

  3. Is it a desktop PC or Laptop? If it is a desktop you could replace the video card with one that has S video on it.

  4. Well, you threw a wrench in the works when you added "THX."

THX will not certify what you are trying to do. To do this inexpensively, you will have to buy a video card for your new computer that has an S output, and forget about being THX quality.

    Sorry...
