As a result, the selection committee, headed by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Iqbal-Qasim-c76980, have drafted in a few young players like Haris Sohail and Mohammad Rizwan, who are yet to make their debuts at the highest stage of the sport.
Akmal has been selected as a wicketkeeper/batsman and is expected to do most of the glovework in the Caribbean; whereas, Rizwan is going to be the backup if this experiment fails.
Apart from Afridi and Akmal, Ahmed Shehzad has also made a comeback to the 50-overs format of the game and is likely to open the innings in West Indies with http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Nasir-Jamshed-c78752.

Young medium-fast bowler, Ehsan Adil, who was a part of the national squad for the Champions Trophy, has been dropped because of the nature of pitches in the Caribbean, which are likely to assist the spinners.
Pakistan’s tour of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 includes five ODIs and a couple of T20 Internationals. The opening ODI is going to be played on July 14th at Guyana.
