Subhan Ahmed, the Chief Operating Officer (COO) of the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB), has expressed that the board is committed to enhance the standard of domestic cricket in the country and hopes that the upcoming Faysal Bank T20 Tournament 2012-13 in Lahore will be a huge success.
The COO was addressing a press conference in a five-star hotel in Lahore on the launch of the new edition of the domestic T20 tournament, which will be comprised of 14 teams divided in two pools. The matches will take place at the Gaddafi Stadium, LCCA ground and the Bagh-e-Jinnah ground, Lahore.

Subhan however, claims that the PCB is working hard to improve the standard of cricket at the national level, which is the nursery of producing talent for the Pakistan team.
“Pakistan Cricket Board is committed to continuously improve the standard and competitiveness of its domestic cricket, to bring it at par with the most developed cricketing nations,” said the COO.
Over the last eight years, the domestic T20 tournament has attracted massive crowds and Subhan hopes that the T20 event in Lahore will provide great entertainment to the masses in the capital of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Punjab-c833, the second largest city of the country.
He mentioned, “I am positive that denizens of Lahore will enjoy the descent of the national stars in their midst and the razzmatazz of the T20 format.”
The tournament was initially scheduled to be played in Karachi but the poor law and order situation in Pakistan’s financial hub has forced the board to move the tournament to Lahore.
