http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 still willing to restore bilateral cricketing ties with India
Speaking about the Indian Premier League’s 5th season, which kicks off today, and the continued exclusion of Pakistani players from the high-profile event, PCB’s chief operating officer, Subhan Ahmed, revealed that their focus was on the resumption
of bilateral ties with the neighbouring country.
"Frankly speaking, we have not spoken to the Indian cricket officials about our players not being invited to the Indian Premier League or the Champions League because our focus in recent times has remained on restoring bilateral ties first," he said.
However, the inability of Pakistani players to go prove themselves amongst the best of the best in competitions like the Champions League due to political issues has been a source of disappointment for Pakistani fans and cricketers alike.
Collingwood still hoping for a miracle http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 recall
35-year-old English veteran, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Durham-c782 County team, claimed that a recall into the national setup is still on the cards for him as he has not retired from the shorter formats.
Collingwood, who had earlier captained the One Day side and then gone on to lead the Twenty20 team to World Cup glory in 2010, was dropped after the ODI World Cup 2011, after an extended slump in his performance.
The veteran however, still believes that if he continues to do well for Durham, a few injuries in the English side may herald his return to the national XI.

India’s Little Master, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/SR-Tendulkar-c2556, who had been leading the high-profile Indian Premier League franchise, Mumbai Indians, decided to forego the captaincy position for the 5th season, in favour of Indian spinner, and team-mate, Harbhajan
Singh.
This is not the first time Harbhajan will be leading the Mumbai side though; he captained them previously in the Champions League tournament last year, when Sachin was suffering from a toe injury, and took them on to clinch the title.
The 5th edition of the Indian Premier League kicks-off today, with the first match between the Mahendra Singh Dhoni-led Chennai Super Kings and Mumbai Indians, at Chennai.
