PCB extends the deadline for Malik, Kaneria and Kamran

month.
Sources told the media that the three players who were under inquiry regarding their suspected activities in the match-fixing scams had put a request in to the PCB to extend the deadline for submitting their disclosures regarding
the details of their properties and responses in light of their off-field actions
The PCB's action to ask players to provide details of their assets and accounts came under instructions of the International Cricket Council.
“Accepting their request, the PCB allowed them to submit the replies any time before the end of December. In view of the same, the PCB also requested the International Cricket Council (ICC) to extend the date for submission of
the list of 30 probables for the World Cup- from Dec 19th to sometime in January.”
“It is learnt that the ICC has extended the date now to Jan 5th," the sources revealed.
The Source also said that earlier, the PCB did not disclose the reasons of sidelining the trio from the South African and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/New-Zealand-c754 series because they were awaiting final clearance on the initial list of 40 possibles sent to
the ICC.
Later on, the ICC changed its policy and instead of taking responsibility of ruling out any player owing to their suspicious roles, it asked the PCB to take action itself, for which the board decided to make its own queries before
short listing players for the 2011World Cup.
The ICC also issued strict instructions to the PCB, that it will be totally accountable for selecting any of the players who have suspicious previous record regarding.
The PCB took actions on the players regarding a submission of details of their assets and accounts on the instructions of the ICC.
On the PCB’s request, the ICC has extended the date of the announcement of the cleared preliminary squad to January 5th, while the hearing of the spot-fixing cases against http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Qatar-c2986 will be
held on the 6th of January.
The three players were suspended due to allegations of balling deliberate no-balls in the fourth Test against England at Lord’s this summer.
