PCB integrity committee still to decide fate of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Danish-Kaneria-c1314 and Shoaib Malik – Cricket News Update
The out of favour Pakistan cricketers’ duo, Danish Kaneria and http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Shoaib-Malik-c90088, appeared before the integrity committee of the Pakistan Cricket Board in a bid to get their names cleared for selection in the national side.
Nadeem Sawrar, a Pakistan Cricket Board spokesman, told the media reporters on Monday that the decision on whether the duo can play for Pakistan cricket team is still pending.
"Both Malik and Kaneria appeared before the committee but the committee has taken no decision," Nadeem Sawrar told the media reporters.
Both Kaneria and Malik have not made a http://www.senore.com/Cricket/England-c56013 in summer 2010 and have been struggling for a national selection since then, but the PCB
selectors overlook them for the national assignments citing their names have not been cleared by the integrity committee.
It has been reported that the former skipper, Shoaib Malik, has been overlooked for the selection after he failed to satisfy the integrity committee about the authenticity of his financial assets. Malik, however, opined that
he has produced all the necessary information before the committee.
"I have given to the committee whatever I was asked to submit and it's up to them to clear me," said Malik.

Malik, who married the Indian tennis star Sania Mirza in April last year, also received a ray of hope when he was named as a reserve player in Pakistan’s squad for the upcoming Zimbabwe tour.

However, the PCB chief selector has said that whether Malik is retained in the reserve squad or not is subject to his clearance from the integrity committee.
The former skipper vowed to give his absolute best if he gets picked up in the http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045 squad.
"If I am included in the team, then I am sure I will give a good performance as I believe I have a lot to offer to Pakistan cricket," he added further.
The new-look Pakistan team, under Misbah-ul-Haq’s captaincy will leave for the Zimbabwe tour next team where they will play a two-day tour game in Bulawayo before playing a Test match against the hosts starting on September
1.
