PCB refuses Zimbabwe tour players’ participation in Ramazan tournaments - Cricket News Update
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has strictly instructed its players, selected for the upcoming tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Zimbabwe-c3045, forbidding them to take part in the proceeding Ramazan Twenty20 (T20) tournaments.
According to reports, one of the Pakistani players on the scheduled Zimbabwe tour squad stated that the prohibition came from PCB after the board made it clear and instructed the players to rest and focus on the upcoming international tournament, set to
take off later this month.
However, the country’s cricketing governing body remained determined over the decision despite special requests made by the Corporate Cup’s (Ramazan T20 tournament) organiser, and former Pakistani wicket-keeper Captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Mohammad-Moin-Khan-c77092.
Under the banner of Corporate Ramazan Night T20 Cricket Tournament, the domestic competition kicked off on the 1st of Ramazan, 2011, in Karachi, and was brought alive by the Moin Khan Cricket Academy.
