PCB still undecided on boycotting ICC awards ceremony – Cricket News Roundup – Part II – September 10, 2012
Pakistan Cricket Board has not yet decided to boycott the ICC awards ceremony in Colombo, on Saturday, September 15, 2012, said the PCB chairman, Zaka Ashraf.
While addressing a gathering in Lahore, congregated to celebrate Pakistan’s T20 series win over Australia, the PCB chief said that they have been “saddened” by the unjust omission of http://www.senore.com/Cricket/ICC-World-Cup-2011-c100625 Player of Year award.
“...no final decision has been taken yet to boycott the award ceremony or not,” said http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ashraf-c46397. “We’d not have objected had he not won the award after being short listed but in this case, he has been 'overlooked' for his performance,” he added further.
Ajmal, who picked up 72 wickets between August 2011 and August 2012, maximum by an international bowler during this period, was overlooked by the 32-member independent jury for selection in the short list, featuring http://www.senore.com/Cricket/KC-Sangakkara-c1779 (Sri Lanka), Michael

“Tomorrow night is a starting point to get into a good place to work towards the World Cup," said the Kiwi paceman during a media encounter on the match eve in Chennai, on Monday. “If you have momentum on your side...you can sort of work with that throughout
the tournament,” he added further.
Former Pakistan skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Misbah-ul-Haq-c1972 as the ODI skipper of the side for a foreseeable future.
In an interview with Pakpassion, the cricketer turned commentator said that though some of Misbah’s captaincy tactics are questionable, it would not be wise to change the captain of the side, especially under these circumstances.
“I think Misbah has done a wonderful job, and Pakistan cricket does not need such jolts, as would occur if he was removed from captaining the one day team," said the former http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 batsman.
