PCB to discuss Afridi issue after Waqar’s return from Ireland
Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) intends to have a comprehensive debate on the dispute between former captain, http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Ireland-c751 tour. The row has led Afridi to quit international cricket.

Subhan Ahmed, the Chief Operating Officer of PCB, told the media today “He had said he wanted to go home to Sydney as his wife was not keeping well. We have advised him that if possible he should first come to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Pakistan-c755 on June 2 and then go to Australia.”
However, he later said, “But we have not forced him to just come to Pakistan. We have told him it is his choice if he has to urgently go home to Sydney, than he can come to Pakistan later.”
Afridi and Waqar fell out during Pakistan’s tour to http://www.senore.com/Cricket/West-Indies-c760 a few weeks back, as the captain expressed his concerns over the coach’s alleged interference in team matters.
As a result of the spat, Afridi flied back to home after winning the 5-match ODI series 3-2.
Afterward, the PCB sacked Afridi from the post of captaincy and asked him to play as a common player.
Afridi, who considered his termination as an insult, announced his conditional retirement from International Cricket.
He stated that he will be available for his country if the board is reconstituted. However, since prospects of such a development are bleak, so are Afridi’s chances of a comeback.
