PCB to sack Aaqib Javed and Ejaz Ahmed from assistant coach posts??
The Chairman of Pakistan Cricket Board, Ijaz Butt has withdrawn his statement after England Cricket Board threatened the old man with legal action unless he unreservedly apologized for his allegations of match fixing against the England team during the third

“It is regrettable that there was a misunderstanding arising from my comments. I would like to make it quite clear that in the statements which I made that I never intended to question the behavior and integrity of the England players nor the ECB nor to
suggest that any of them were involved in any corrupt practices or in a conspiracy against Pakistan cricket,” Butt said in a joint statement of both boards released on Wednesday.
Now coming towards the spot-fixing mess, one of the three suspended Pakistani players, Salman Butt has filed an appeal against the suspension imposed on him under the article two of the ICC Anti-Corruption Code. Pakistan’s Test skipper http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Salman-c88163 along with
Mohammad Aamir and Mohammad Asif were suspended by the ICC on September 2, 2010 following the spot-fixing allegations leveled against them by the British tabloid, News of the World. Aamir and Asif have not yet submitted any such appeal but talks are in the

as the Test captain. “As the future of Salman Butt as test captain and player hangs in balance because of the spot-fixing scam, the best choice to lead Pakistan is Younis Khan,” Abbas argued.

It is also being said that the selection committee isn’t happy with the attitude of team’s head coach, Waqar Younis and it has decided not to invite him to its meeting to pick the squad for South Africa series. Earlier, the team manager, Yawar Saeed had
also resigned from his post.
