PCB to send a four-member delegation to India ahead of the bilateral series – Cricket News Update
The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) has decided to send a four-member delegation, including a member from the ministry of foreign affairs, to India later this month to assess the security and other arrangements for the forthcoming limited overs series against the hosts, in December this year.
Sources from inside the PCB claimed on Monday that visa applications for the members of the delegation had already been sent to the Indian High Commission in Pakistan, for processing and approval.
“The ministry has sent the name of its representative to the board which has also informed the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) about the names of its delegation and it is awaiting a response from the Indian board,” a PCB source told media reporters in Lahore today.
“The delegation will be looking at the security arrangements with the hosts to ensure better coordination during the tour,” the source added further.

The PCB official further said that the board had decided to send the four-member delegation to the neighbouring country ahead of the short tour to not only check the hotel and ground arrangements for its national team but also to assess the security plans at the venues scheduled to host the T20 and ODI matches.
