PCB’s committee likely to recommend a local coach – Cricket News Update
Pakistan Cricket Board’s three-member committee, designed especially for the selection of a national coach, is likely to pick a local contestant for the post, assisted by a foreign consultant.
For this purpose, the committee, which is being chaired by http://www.senore.com/Cricket/Naushad-Ali-Rizvi-c78868, will meet today to find out a suitable candidate.
"All the talk about foreign coaches and names being mentioned in the media are mere speculation. The committee will meet for the first time on Thursday and decide on a method to select the new coach," Alam said.

his willingness in taking up this job, saying that he would accept the post if offered.
Intikhab also indicated that the committee has not even given the criteria for short listing the names for the coaching post. Although news reports revealed the possibility of selection for the local coach, Alam said that the
committee would not have any issue in suggesting a foreign coach as well.
"The board has given us responsibility for shortlisting and recommending a candidate for the coaching position and we will try to do our best," he added.
Intikhab, earlier in his statement, said that the committee is not given any specific time period to name the new coach.
