  1. If it is meant to be God will make it happen..so pray for the best...and Good luck and Dont get discouraged!!

EDIT- I was remembering I saw a website and there were people on there who tried for awhile and still got pregnant even with a low percent! So keep trying and try to be patient!!

  2. It depends on his sperm count.  The 2% strict morph is low but if he has a decent count then that is still a lot of viable sperm.  You know that the average man has less than 14% of strict morphology.  I got pregnant with clomid, am PCOS, and did IUI with only 8,000 sperm after the wash.  I have a really severe case of PCOS.  I think it really depends on his count.  My RE was discouraging, but he did say it only takes 1 sperm and the first round of IUI was a success.  Good luck to you.  It does complicate matters, but couldn't they isolate his good sperm from the sample or take a few samples so there is a lot to put back?

  3. I'm sorry, I don't know what 2% strict Morph is, but I have PCOS also so I know quite a bit about that. My ex-husband and I tried to conceive for a while. While we were TTC I found out that I have PCOS and did 6 months of Clomid. My insurance doesn't cover fertility treatments so I couldn't afford to do an IUI, so I never got pregnant with him. He wouldn't go get himself tested to see if he had fertility issues also. so I don't know if I was the main problem, or if it was him, too.

The first guy I slept with after splitting from my husband knocked me up. No fertility drugs or anything, it was a complete oopsie - a blessing, but an oopsie! ;o)  So... I'm thinking my ex definitely had some fertility issues. It will definitely make it harder for you to get pregnant with both of you having strikes against you, but try to keep your head up! My boyfriend - the father of my baby - was told when he was younger that due to an illness he had, he has a very low sperm count and would likely never be able to get a girl pregnant. We both thought we couldn't have kids, and here we are, 22 weeks into pregnancy. Miracles do happen, so don't give up!

  4. My ex hubby had an extreme low sperm count results etc and we got pg through IVF/ICSI a few times, unfortunately I lost every pg early on though, which only later found out was due to PCOS (which we knew I had so should of been told of higher m/c rate). and now 2nd hubby doesn't have a count issue and we have 2 girls now with the help of Metformin that saved the pg's.

Now we have a couple of friends who were told the hubby couldn't father children naturally at all due to he was deemed sterile as his count was extremely low, morph everything etc, and she has diabetes type 1 and was very overweight, but they are now 5½months pg, so it just shows as long as your hubby has 1 good sperm it can happen. Just try to keep your chin up, it's hard I know, but it is possible as long as he has a 1 single sperm it's definitely a possibility.
