Hi Everyone. I have PCOS and Hypothyroid. Doc put me on 1500mg of Metformin per day and Prometrium 2 a day x 10 days. I have my period regulary every 30 days, but the doctor insisted that I wouldn't have one this month on my own because my Progesterone level was 1.4. I was having cramps, cravings etc...just like normal but they told me to start taking the Prometrium anyway. My period was due Aug. 4th and has not come. My regular cramps have gone away but I have gotten all the side effects from the Prometrium. Did anyone else get dizziness, sore b***s and crying from it? I took the last dose today-when should my period come? Also, I take Clomid 100mg days 3-7 then they want me to have an ultrasound. What day # will I get the ultrasound? What day #'s do you think I'll need to have s*x to conceive? Sorry for all of the questions but I'm so nervous and emotional about this whole thing. Tried for 3 years w/ hubby #1 and none of this worked. Doc seems more hopeful this time...Thanks for your help!

  1. I have all of this and have been through it.  After taking prometrium (are you taking 200 or 400?) your period starts anytime within 2 weeks but usually for me comes within 7-10 days.  I have taken prometrium or the like (provera, cycrin) for 20 years.  I have all those side effects too.  The ultrasound will be based upon your bloodwork after clomid.  Clomid makes you ovulate late.  I began u/s on day 11 to monitor and measure the follicle growth.  U/S are every other day till ovulation, then its 14 DPO for pregnancy u/s, looking for yolk sac.  Doc will tell you when you are about to ovulate and when to have intercourse.  Baby dust!

  2. im in the same boat,i pray 4 u

  3. you should get your period in a few days (3-5) then after you take the clomid you should ovulate in like 3 days i think Good Luck
