PCOS and TTC.. Plz Answer.. 10 Points For Best Answer!

Question

I have PCOS and have been on 3 x 500mg Metformin for nearly 3 mths now. I have very irregular periods so don't know when and if I ovulate.

My last period started on the 04/07/08 and stopped on the 15/07/08. I then had a little bright red blood on the 28/07/08 but for the next two days it was a brownish colour and then stopped. Only last 3 - 4 days in total.

What do you think this is? Implantation bleeding or period? I don't have sore b***s or any other signs of being pregnant. I cud do a pregnancy test but don't want to be disappointed yet again..

You period lasted 11 days?  Thats a long a$$ period.. So sorry for you..  It is possible the spotting was implantation spotting.  I've never had that my self so Im really not sure.. I will say that with PCOS, you are likely to spot throughout cycles for no reason at all.  This, I am speaking from experience.

Has your Dr tried giving you clomid?  Like I said, I have PCOS and after 3 months of 50 mgs of clomid, I got pregnant, only to MC at 6 weeks.. then was on 100 mgs of clomid and finally had twins after 4 yrs after the start of TTC... nearly 4 yrs later, I lost 60 lbs in 5 months and got pg all on my own.

maybe this is not what you want to hear, but dont get your hopes up too much... i have been ttc for 18 months now with no luck and everymonth my brain jsut goes into overdrive with 'is that sore b***s, is that implantation bleeding ??

remember very few women get this bleeding.

wait a few more days and take a test.
