PCSX2 a waste of time ?

I recently got a hold of the ps2 processing speed which is estimated to be around 294.912 MHz yet PCSX2 emulator requires computers to have a ridiculous output power of 2.6 or higher to play the games at full speed. So I ask you is something wrong with the coding for the emulator that makes it that more difficult to run games than the PS2.

I recently try playing SNK vs capcom on DC emulator with no problem in speed yet when i tried the PS2 version it's dragging like h**l so is it the coding on the thing that needs to be change or something else.

ps2 coding is very difficult some games works good and some games still don't I've seen the thing you're talking about with snk vs  capcom and pcsx2 not done yet so it could still be fixed.

p.s you wanna see lag try gamecume emu i get like 15fps no sound xd
