PE CLASS!!l NEED HELP!?

in pe we have to run FAST for 8 min straight. but i can only run fast for like 2-3. HELP ME!

  1. breathe in with your nose and out with your mouth -prevents cramping

    i'm in track and we learned that if you keep your elbows angled at 90 degrees and moving them as forward and back as you can, it improves your running cause the farther your arm goes, the higher your thighs' muscles will pull (which is good cause you'll cover more ground with less work lol). also, don't grip your hands, run like you're holding a bird in your hands-don't grip too hard that you'll crush it, but enough to keep it from flying away :)

    for now, pace yourself until you build endurance.

    but for the first four minutes, breathe through your noes

    and the rest of the four minutes, breathe through ur mouth

  3. Pace yourself - don't sprint or you'll tire out too soon. Run at a moderate pace so you will be able to finish. Try to get into a mental zone when you are running so you can feel how strong you are - you can go farther than you think you can. Try doing laps for certain people in your life who mean alot to you - that way you have motivation to keep going even when you think you can't go any farther. It's 90% mental. You Can Do It !!!

  4. Your a girl, right? Say its your period and you have major cramps. They cant make you run on that!

  5. Challenge yourself to run fast a minute longer each day. You will be able to improve over time. In high school I weighed 190 lbs and I could run a mile in under 8 minutes. If I could do it, so can you!

    PS- Exercise is an excellent way to get rid of cramps, so don't use that as an excuse.
