  1. Doesn't matter. If their commander in chief, you got to do want they say and follow the boss. Politics won't matter. We don't get that option, just the opinion.

  2. McCain.  The lesser of two evils.

  3. I am not active duty but I am a veteran. I like Obama's optimism and enthusiasm but his lack of understanding of the war on terror concerns me. I believe Iraq is a strategic position in the middle east. It borders several terror supporting nations including Syria and Iran. The statement he made,"I will leave Iraq and increase troop levels in Afghanistan." He lost me. Mccain understands losing a war and how it stays with you. I think he understands the urgency and the situation on the ground. I also think he understands that the radical Islamic terrorist take advantage of the week and respect the butt kicking they are currently receiving. We only lose if we quit. Mccain it is.

  4. Do you want to know who we like better? Or who we want for president? Like someone else said, it doesnt really matter, he will be the commander in chief and all military members will have to do what they are told to.

But I think that McCain is so much more pro military than Obama. I don't know how much for the military Obama will do.

  5. you could write a book on this...

McCain wants to stay and Obama wants to pull out of Iraq.

either way, we are in the Middle East for along time.

So we vote for McCain and we stay in the war in Iraq and Afghanistan.

or we vote for Obama and we pull out of Iraq and send the troops to Afghanistan, and the hundreds of other bases in the Middle East that are not in Iraq. either way the soldiers do not get a break. Take the Air Base in Qatar for Example.... we have a99 year contract to have a base there in their country... same with many other bases. We will still be deployed there because we are close to Iran and other countries that we have problems with. I do agree with Obama about upping our Military personnel, because I'm tired of deploying every year!

  6. Why  What?

    What difference does it make?

I served during Vietnam, does that make me better qualified than Obama?

I think not, and by the way I served much longer than John McCain did.

  7. McCain.  I'm not sure why it's not obvious.  Obomba gives aide to the enemy.

  8. Just remember. We never lost in Vietnam. We gave up because of overwhelming public opinion against a costly, ill conceived war. How would you feel about losing your friends in a war, that you were winning, and the country just decided to stop. When confronted after the Paris peace talks, the North Vietnamese ambassador admitted that they had never decisively overcome US forces in the field, but noted, "..but that is not relevant, now." Let's support the troops. Win the war, and bring 'em ALL home, from both Afghanistan or Iraq.

  9. Obama. America does not need another war, we need to regroup and balance out our economy and balance out imports and exports ratio. We are not ready for another war. People need to understand in America that we can do more by diplomatic solutions than using military force.

  10. well, im not in the military, but obama :]

  11. How about...

    Alan Keyes - Independent

Charles Jay - Boston Tea party

    Chuck Baldwin - Constitution Party

    Cynthia McKinney - Green

    Bob Barr - Libertarian

    Gene Amondson - Prohibition Party

Gloria La Riva - Socialism and Liberation

    Brian Moore - Socialist

    Ralph Nader - Independent

    Then like many more
