PERMS PERMS PERMS :)?

Question

Ok so my hair used to have like natural beach waves but ever since ive dyed it so much it wont curl AT ALL anymore scrunching and nothinggg works. so i was thinking about getting a perm perhaps. Can a perm give me the beach wave curls without making my hair a big frizzball mess, and what type is it and how much will it cost!

It depends (a) how big the rollers are and (b) how tightly there rolled. Tell your stylist what you want, bring a picture of you with your beachy hair even & they should be able to. About price, it really just depends where you get it. Be prepared to pay 75-80 dollars though, its pricey for sure.

a Chinese perm will be great 4 u it cost like 500 i think, just google Chinese perm and see

If your hair is colored don't get a perm - it will burn up - too many chemicals in your hair.  Try velcro rollers or wrapping your hair around a curling iron barrel.

no i dont think it would wrk.  perms get frizzy after a few weeks no matter wut u put in ur hair. try a curling iron or curl with ur straightner =]

I phone my hairdresser to ask about perms and she says they aren't in fashion. I guess she is not an expert in doing them, so...

I too want a perm as I feel that it will be easier than curling my hair for work each day.

it depends. You have to tell your stylist what kind of waves you want and it depends if your hair will hold the perm. Hair with a lot of dye in it might not a hold a perm well. Just make sure you tell your stylist that you have dyed your hair  a lot so she will know just what to do.

well how much have you dyed it??? cuz this girl at my school just got a perm after coloring hers a lot and she had bleach blonde hair and dyed it brown then blonde then orange last year then she was blonde this year.. and well she had to cut all her hair off cuz the perm killed her hair.. now her hair is really really short but she can pull it off cuz she has a doll face.. so i suggest that you dont do the perm.. try to maybe oull off the curls with product. when i make my hair curly i use garnier fructis beach hair and then mousse and a little spray gel to lock it in

you can get a perm :) when you go to the hair salon just tell them what type of perm you want and how tight/lose you want the curls to be. just make sure its what you really want to do because if you dont like the perm there is nothing you can do about it .. i know from experience haha. of course when you get out of the shower and stuff your hair is going to be a little fizzer than previous but not to worry its just from the perm and your hair will come out the perm look :). as the price is depends on where you go for it!

Honestly, I dont think getting a perm will be good.

Chances are, it WONT turn out how you want.

You cant go back.

If you straighten it, your hair will just fall out over time.

Its a bad idea.

And I dont think they are in style.
