PGA Catalunya Resort in the ‘World’s Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play’ ranking

The UK based Golf World has listed the course among its widely read list “World’s Top 100 Golf Courses You Can Play”. This is a rare honour for the PGA Catalunya Resort, that is already is the process of upgrading itself to higher places on international
rankings.
What does this recent accolade means for the PGA Catalunya Resort and its management?
The most important outcome of this honour is the increased public exposure that is very important for any golf course. Since the course derives a part of its revenues from public golf activities, this new ranking will be result in an increase of golf activities.
In related development, PGA Catalunya Resort is now considered the site of European Tour Qualifying School Final Stage. This will be the fourth consecutive time, the Final Stage is held at the course. This year the Final Stage will be held in November.

The location of the PGA Catalunya Resort is another plus point that will go a long way in promoting the golf course among the golf lovers. The course is located at the distance of a five-minute drive from Girona-Costa Brava Airport.
