PGA National Resort & Spa rolls out attractive package deals – Golf news
The Masters fever may finally be subsiding, and the budding wanabe golfers will be out in search of affordable courses to try their hands on a golf club for real. Augusta, with all its traditions and delicacies, remains far from the reach of common man,
who can only entre and walk the course as a spectator during a tournament.
Florida and Georgia together, probably boast the largest number of golf courses on the planet with Florida alone having a staggering 1000 of them. With such variety at hand, its hardly difficult to sort out a reasonable course for an evening of lofty drivers
and putts.
The AAA Four Diamond PGA National Resort & Spa is one such course among the many south Floridian courses. The club has five courses including the newly renovated Champion Course, the venue of Honda Classic Golf Championship. Among the other five courses
are The Palmer, The Haig, The squire, The Walter Hagen, Gene Sarazen and The Estates course.
Apart from all these splendid golf courses, the resort is a one-stop-shop for everything that is remotely related to golf. David Leadbetter Golf Academy, Dave Pelz Scoring School, Titleist Performance Institute and professional club-fitting service provides
coaching to aspiring golfers at all levels.
The resort is once again rolling out its sugary offer ‘Summer Escape and Play’ package after undergoing the $65 million renovation last year. The packages start from as low as $79 per person, per night, which comes with all day golf around the luxurious
greens and natural water hazards and deluxe accommodations. The package offers,
1.       Unlimited rounds at The Palmer, The Haig, The Squire and The Estate Course with complimentary rounds.
2.       Accommodation at the PGA’s award winning resort hotel.
3.       Access to the world renowned natural mineral pools and spa.
4.       Daily breakfast.
5.       50 percent discount at the David leadbetter Golf Academy classes.
“Our $65 million revitalization gives us a sophisticated new feel and compliments our overall guest experience,” said Joel Paige, vice president and managing director. “We felt the investment was the perfect vehicle to celebrate our 30-year anniversary as
we continue to build customers for life.”
A $30 cart fee also applies at the courses and an additional $50 to have a chance to play at the Champions famous ‘Bear Trap’.
“If you're serious about improving your golf game, we have every base covered,” said Jane Broderick, director of golf operations at PGA National. The resort is in close vicinity to the Miami International, The Palm Beach International and an hour’s drive
from Fort Lauderdale-Hollywood International. The revamped Resort will not only be a treat to the golfers from around the world but with its new discount packages, it is all set to attract bounty of guests who appreciate golf with style.
