When Professional Golfers are on tour, do they just stay in area hotels or is their one place where they all stay? Some of those clubhouses are pretty huge. Do they have rooms there??

  1. Every player has their own way, some stay in hotels, some own RV's and drive from tourney to tourney, and some know people in the area and stay with them.  Additionally, you also hear some guys referencing "roomates", so some of the guys will rent houses or condos for the week and split it with another tour player.

  2. I am not sure but i read an interview with Bubba Watson about the cost of going to a tourny and not making the cut and in his response he said that after paying your caddy and paying for your HOTEL, you may end up paying over 5 grand. so i assume many rent their own hotel. Zach Johnson once said that " Kim(wife) and I travel to many tournaments in a RV. It is the closest thing to being at home as we cook our own food, sleep in our own bed and have many of the comforts of home." I assume many other pros with families have mobile homes that they drive to and from the tournaments and stay in.

  3. I remember when the US Open was at Bethpage in New York a few years ago there were articles about people renting out their house to pros and visitors.
