PGA Tour Events ?

Question

Heres the deal .....Me and my Father have decided the time has come to Journey to a PGA TOUR event . we will be going to the BMW Championship Sept, 4-7 .....HOWEVER they apparently only sell 4 day passes....THIS makes it hard to bring the spouses since we doubt they can last 4 rounds out there........

IF they do come is their tickets available at the gates for Single Days or perhaps scalpers out there selling 1 day tickets ???????

perhaps Sat. and Sunday?????

I can't speak specifically to this years event, but living in the Chicago area I attended the Western Open (now the BMW) many times and could always buy a one day pass.  Have you ever attended a PGA event before?  It is fun, but you might not want to stick it out four days yourself.  Unlike watching on TV you can't see all the important stuff that is going on.  You have the choice of sitting in one spot and watching everyone hit the same shot, or walk the course trying to follow your favorite players round.  As as golfer I have found two things, you get a much better picture of the whole tournament on TV than you do in person, and I would rather play golf anytime over watching it.

I have been to the John Deere and the Western Open(now the BMW) and they always sold 1 day grounds passes at the gate at those events. Can't see how they would turn away any paying customers!!!! Good luck!

Just wait it out.  As the event draws nearer, they'll begin to offer 2-day and even one-day passes.

I NEVER buy sports tickets in advance.  They're easy to find at the event and usually cheaper.  I have never not been able to find tickets whether its the Masters or the night race at Bristol.  Someone is always selling.

I bought one day passes for me and my wife to the Tour Championship in Atlanta last year off stubhub.com.  Check there because the prices are also good.  I got two $85 passes with parking included for $90.
