PH - alkalinity test

I HAVE A 55 GAL. FRESH WATER

2, 7 inch gold fish

2,6 inch bala sharks,

and a few smaller fish

i have a "red sea" pH-Alkalinity test, but unsure what my results should read normal.

my pH is yellow, and theres only lime green on my chart, what does that mean. o-- and my alkalinity is yellow also.

can anyone help me

  1. Really, alkalinity isn't terribly important as long as it's stable-- the last thing you wanna do is start playing with it, leading to pH fluctuations, and then indirectly killing the fish.  Also, the Bala Sharks need tropical temperatures, and eventually, a 6 foot tank, while the Goldfish will need much cooler water, around 65*, and eventually a 75+ gallon tank.
