PHOTO HELP! What am I doing worng?

So, I'm trying to upload pictures from my camera to my computer. Everything uploads to Picasa just fine, but it skips some pictures and put them all out of order. What am I doing wrong?

(For example: It will say 500 pictures ready to be uploaded, but it will only upload 485)
