PHOTOSHOP 7.0 problem! ?

Question

I keep trying to change the text color but it only appears as either black, white or gray. I think this has something to do with the color mode but i don't know how to fix it. PLS HELP ASAP!

If your image is in grayscale mode, then you can not get colors for text.

Check your mode:

Image Menu -> Mode, then make sure you have rgb selected. You can have a black and white image in rgb mode.
