Is it easier to pick up and carry a heavy object on the moon than on earth?

  2. Yeah, because the moon has about 1/6th of the Earth's gravitational force. For example, lifting a 90 lb sofa on the moon would probably feel like lifting a 15 lb weight.

  4. Yes because weight is determined by the equation: weight = mass x gravity

    so despite the object having the same mass, the force of gravity on the moon would be less so therefore it would weigh less
