  1. i know baltimore has some good places

  2. make sure ur packin'

  3. walmart.....

  4. Shop for WHAT?

O.C. is full of every kind of shop that you could imagine ... and a few you probably never thought of !!! T-shirts, Thrasher's fries (on the boardwalk), groceries, saltwater taffy, antiques, etc etc etc. You can also ask attendants at service stations where to find something you haven't seen. There are 'off the beaten path' stores all around that area.

And don't forget Rehoboth Beach nearby, too.

AND: drive to nearby Lewes, Delaware and take the ferry (45 minute trip?) to Cape May, New Jersey: lots of antique shops, restaurants, etc. Buy some crackers in the ferry's restaurant and feed the hovering seagulls ... kids love that, kids of all ages, even !!!

  5. Go to this site.I live in southern MD about 4 hours from OC so I am not too familiar with that area. I know they have outlets. Have fun!!!!

  6. did you google it?

  7. the Baltimore - Inner Harbor area

  8. There are lots of places from which to choose. Try the outlets, for instance. In addition to the OC stores, there are loads north of OC in Rehoboth. Just go north on Rt. 1, pass through Fenwick, Bethany, Dewey and follow the signs to the outlets. It's one long stretch of beach with miles and miles of unspoiled and uncrowded sand and ocean with these small beach towns along the shore.

Don't overlook the boardwalk shops in OC, as well as those in Bethany and Rehoboth. There are tons of specialty shops and now is the perfect time to go shopping. The end of season sales start this weekend.

No matter what your taste, you are sure to find items to please. Some of the dress shops are fabulous, swimwear of all types, sizes and several shops will make a suit to order using your own measurements.

If antiquing is your passion, there are tons of shops in OC itself, as well as off the beaten path on Route 54, west of the beach.

While you're there, be sure to take a day trip to Assateague. It's only about 20 minutes away from OC, but it's a whole different world. The wild ponies come right down to the surf's edge. They also check your bags and even your pockets to see if you have any goodies.

Also be sure to eat at Phillips once while you're there. It's an OC tradition.

Check at the local marina to see when the fishing boats come in. It's a real treat to be there should the fishermen come back to see what they've caught that day. We've seen hammerheads, huge tuna, even a marlin. Check the marlin on the boardwalk, at the very beginning down by the parking lot. Amazing.

    I know you'll have a great time!
