  1. because ween need more fire wood and wood to build more houses dont worry they will plant more and they will grow back  i promise

  2. As a tree hugger, I feel I can plant more.  It's sad, isn't it?  Luckily, I live in a place where there's a lot of trees.=)

  3. Well you could go to your city council,

    and complain!

  4. i'm sort of like a tree leaner...don't know if you can do much about it...

  5. If you want to slow down the action over there, pull up the surveying stakes.  They'll have to resurvey, which takes time.  Then do it again.

  6. omg the is horrible who would ever so such a thing!! you should try  to stop it. talk to someone and make a difference.

  7. I am totally against killing living trees.  Sometimes they can be transplanted in another location.  They provide oxygen and clean the air we breath.  Get people involved to have the trees moved if they must be removed from their current space.  There must be people in your area that care.  Where are you?  Name of town and State.  Please let us know.

  8. Well, the same thing happened to my backyard. Personally I am against cutting down a lot of trees. I don`t know what you could do about it, though.

  9. omg! i love your enthusiasm! and yess unless there potentially dangerous you can fight it! i dont suggest u sit in a tree all night but protest is a good start try and get in touch with the manager of the motion to cut the trees down and encourage them to change location to a place where they dont have to tear anything down b4 you take it to city hall hope this helps

    ------->CHOW!

  10. Trees are cut down to make room for houses for us to live in incedentally those houses are made of wood that comes from trees.

  11. get a bunch of friends and go protest!

  12. I'm a "tree hugger" as well but I also know that most states have regulations against knocking trees down.  Chances are that the activity that is going on has been approved by the state with a permit.  You can contact your Department of Environmenal Protection in your state and view the permit.  As of right now its too late to do anything because there would have been a public comment period before the activity started.  Chances are if it is that close to your home your parents probably recieved a mailing that explained what was going on, so i would ask them.

There is a light at the end of the tunnel here though....if the state permitted the activity those knocking down the trees will have to plant an equal or GREATER amount of trees elsewhere to compensate.....

  13. well. im neither a tree hugger or a tree hater. im kind of in the middle. im very modern but i also really want to keep the environment safe and healthy. my opinion is that it should all be balanced. not extreme environment protecting because we need it but not extreme environment murder since why should we kill something that was here before us and hasnt done much bad to us. and if it did, maybe it was as revenge. anyways, you should go talk to the people at town hall. tell them about your concerns and hopefully they will. if they dont, try to gather up a big group of people and show that more people are concerned. also do a petition. that'll show em that people actually care.

  14. well i guess you could grab ur dad's shotgun and show up and start shooting the air

that should scare them for a while and when they start running away,

    chain yourself to the tree

    haha just kidding :D

ask an adult you trust to help you protest at city council

  15. get a big group of people and just stand infront of the trees sure it will probably cause a big sence but at least your doing something right

  16. well plant more trees!! just plant them anywhere. And you can protest!! Its freedom of speech and all so you can. Also, if you can, send out flyers about it. But if you can't do that or protest, buy baby trees and plant them around whereever the trees are being torn down. That'll teach them to tear down poor helpless trees!!!

  17. There's nothing you can do.

  18. invite a bunch of your friends and camp-out in the trees, unless the people that are cutting them down would kill you, i think that it would help stop them from cutting down the trees. oh and umm why could someone possibly hate trees? if there weren't any trees then no one would be alive.

  19. I hate the trees at the back of my house, they are blocking the signal to my satellite dish.

  20. Do something about it if u believe its wrong. get a group together, contact the owner of the restraunt + talk 2 him/her. maybe he/she doesn't no how close the 2 restraunts r.

  21. that sucks.protest

  22. I don't think they are tree haters, i think they are just money huggers! you should do a petition with your neighborhood and get everyone to sign .

  23. be like tank man and stand in front of the bulldozer

  24. Why? Why are they tearing them down?

Is someone in you family tearing them down? You should do something, write to the people tearing them down, or protest.

Unless they are being torn down for lumber to build a homeless shelter or a orphanage I don't approve.

  25. Get in your car. Drive to the nearest grocery store. And buy a little cheese to go with your WHINE.

  26. Tie yourself to one and then they cant bulldoze it!

Or plant them where they tore them down.

  27. Even though I'm not thatmuch of a tree hugger/hater. I think that you should stand up for what's right and persuade the head of the firm to stop killing these trees. Research on the winternet what are the cons of removing trees. try to talk in a calm manner to them. If they don't listen raise your tone of voice to show that you are indeed serious. hope this works

    GOOD LUCK

  28. Go chain yourself to one. Why are they being torn down? If it's a stupid reason, try sending a letter to the mayor. Get a group together, get out there, and PROTEST!

  29. well i hate to see trees destroyed but its probably for a new housing development or something and theres not much you can do about it. plant a new tree!!
