PLEASE ANSWER IMMEDIATLY. WHAT SHOULD I DO...?

i was meant to be going to a reunion party tomorrow, it finishes at 8. My parents said i could go but they thought it ended at 6:30. They had planned on all of us going out for a meal because my grandma is going on thursday. I don't want to offend my grandma or anyone but i was really looking forward to going and seeing all my old class mates. Help?

Leave early from the party. Then you'll be able to attend both events.

Save the best for last. Go for dinner with grandma then head straight for the reunion half way through dinner. Your grandma will understand.

Oh dear, your grandma has to leave for New Zealand the next day?? Then forget about the reunion party. You can still organise something later to make up for all the absentees. As for your grandma, you'll never know if you'll see her again on earth. So better spend time and treasure the moments like it is the last with her then.

Talk to your parents about your situation.  Explain that you want to do both and perhaps you can.  You could go to your reunion from 4:30-6:30 or later is they agree.  Then all go out to dinner after that.  All of you need to just be honest and flexible.

Tell your parents and your grandma that you won't be able to dine with them on that evening. Visit or call your grandma to explain what is going on, she will understand.

If I were you, I will go for the reunion party which doesn't come along that often. If your parents are understanding, they will let you go. If you think they are not and will not, then don't tell them that it actually ends at 8. Just go for the reunion and face the wrath later. All the best.

Why don't you take your grandma out tonight?  Just make it an impromptu night out...you get to spend some time with grandma and enjoy your reunion tomorrow.  OR..order some food you all love and have a wonderful casual dinner at home!
