PLEASE ANSWER! Is there a difference between evaporation under the sun and under incandescent light?

I am doing a science project where we had to grow two identical lima bean plants, one under sunlight, the other under an incandescent light bulb. The plant under the light bulb died a lot, and I believe that this happened because it was over watered. However, I gave both plants the same amount of water. I think that the reason why the light bulb plant died more was because there was no evaporation, or at least less than in the sunlight plant. Is this true? If so, why? I need an answer quickly, please! Also, if you could give a website where I could find this information as well, that would be very helpful.

  1. The process of evaporation would be the same with a bulb or the sun.

  2. Evaporation occurs under both.

However the plant under the bulb is not getting the same amount of light as the plant grown under the bulb.

Did you try a special bulb that emits light that plants like best ?

A plant growth bulb is what you need
