Here's a choice story... i had been dating my boyfriend of two years at the time my mother was diagnosed with a fatal illness that killed her in less than one year. When my mother told me i was absolutely devistated because she was my best friend, so i called my boyfriend to tell him and first thing out of his mouth is this "I don't know what to tell you but i can't deal with this. i have enough going on in my own life and i would really prefer not to talk about your problems." What a horrible person. I don't know why but I stayed with him for a whole year after that and he continued to treat me horribly. He dropped out of college and blamed it on me because he quote unquote "couldn't handle all of my problems" (even though i hardly EVER talked to him about my mom). Also, i told him not to tell anyone because i only wanted to tell people i really trusted. He told all of my friends and his friends before i got a chance to. He screamed at me in the car on the way to my mother's funeral because i didn't want to have s*x with him the night before...oh the list goes on and on. Life is so wonderful without him in it now.

I deal with my enemies nicely, so they don't bother me or turn into my friends. I think as in regarding my enemy the worse thing that I DID to him was embarrassing him in front of everyone because he had embarrassed and was a teasing a soft- spoken friend of mine.

The BEST THING that my friend did for me was APPRECIATING me when I did something right or tried to do something for them.
