PLEASE ANSWER - didnt take pill and had s*x!? (cerazette)?

Ok, with this pill it should be taken at the same time each day and if you forget to take a pill, you should take it as soon as you remember, and if you are more than twelve hours late taking a pill, you wont be protected against pregnancy

Normally i take my pill at 8.00am on week days and between 12.00pm and 2.00pm on the weekend. (so thats ok)

The other day i forgot to take my pill and i took it about 5.30pm, the next day i completely forgot and had s*x and then took the pill at 10.30pm.

so was i still protected?

i am really really confused

please help

First of all the pill should be taken at the same time every day including the weekends. The GYN told my daughter that. That is when we get the "I was on the pill baby" from. She said as long as you take the pill at the same time everyday you won't get pregnant. Also, if you change pills for a month you should use other birth control. That often causes pregnancy when you don't do that. When you are just starting the pill for a month you need to use another form of birth control as well. Also, if you are on certain antibiotics and you are on the pill you could get an antibiotic baby as some antibiotics interfere with the pill. Again, use another form of birth control at that time. And if you run out of pills NEVER TAKE ANOTHER PERSON'S AS THEY MAY NOT BE THE SAME STRENGTH. USE OTHER FORM OF BIRTH CONTROL. Hope this help

With all the time you've spent asking this, you could have went and got the morning after pill then you wouldn't have anything to be worried about!
