should i get a jg 614 with a tightbore barrel and upgraded internals reinforced hop up, metal bushings) v2 gearbox

or a jg g36c with v3 gearbox

  1. The 614 is a fine rifle style and there's not a thing wrong with a V2 gearbox. With it's upgrades it will outshoot the G36 easily. Plus A 614 feels more solid in your hands than the largely plastic G36. I recomend the 614.


  2. Oddly enough I own both of the Echo1 versions of those guns.  Version 2 and 3 are just different shapes to fit the gun.  The M14s have version 7.  

    That 614 will shoot a little harder.  I think the PEQ is a pain but there are versions with battery in stock.  The rails are sharp so you will need covers or a front grip.  

    G36 is all plastic but it feels sturdy for plastic.  They have both been good so far, I would just get the one you like the most.
