PLEASE HELP!!!!! Battery VERY HOT!!!!!!

I was trying to make a pandora battery for my psps but then a accdentally make a spark with the screwdriver and then smoke started coming out of the battery and it started to get hotter and hotter. is it going to blow up or osmething? please answer im really scared!

If it's a lithium ion battery you may have a serious problem on your hands. If you can, get the battery out doors and away from combustible materials.

If it's a lithium ion battery, then it may explode and combust. Take it outside well away from your house and on some concrete or dirt. Never put it on grass or wood as it may catch a light. Now, leave it there (under cover and away from heat and rain) for about an hour and go and check on. If you see a leak, then do NOT touch it.

You could use rubber gloves to take the battery out to protect your PSP, but just be careful. If you get any bettery acid or a foreign liquid on you, wash it off with cold water and soap straight away. Then if you get any conditions, go to the hospital.
