Question:

PLEASE HELP! I am desperate to lose weight!?

I have been overweight since i was a young girl, and i have never been able to lose the weight. I have tried the diet pills, the full glass of water before every meal so you eat less, the not eating a few hours before bed, the exercising for hours until i almost pass out, going days without eating, the 5- bite diet, the atkins diet, slim fast, and just calorie counting! I have no money for anything and i can't have any stimulants in my system. Does anyone have any legit advice?

  1. check out the August issue of Good Housekeeping  magazine or go to their website. In this issue there's a mini  meal diet, which let's you eat something every two hours which helps with hunger and the metabolism. I'm trying it and so far so good.

I have tried a lot of the same things as you.The only diet i have fond that works was Waite watchers but it is all about sticking to it.I lost 16 lbs in a month but than i quit and got laze and started eating fast food again.I don't know why.It seems to me that being fat is like being a drug addict.It is very hard to change your ways.

  5. starving yourself will only make it worse because your eat twice as much when you do eat. don't exercise till u drop that's thee worse thing you can do because you wont do it very much longer. just take it easy one day at the time. like i said before stop the pop those are a killer. walk you don't have to walk till u drop just walk brake a sweat then drink all the water that u can and watch how much u eat not what u eat. big breakfast light snack normal lunch and a small dinner and fat free snack before bed don't forget ur water by the bed before u lay down.l

  7. I hear ya on the programs! I was a radio DJ for 21 years so I got to try them all for free and then talk about them on the air. Of course they all worked but I couldn't do the maintenance, except with Metabolife, which I used for 5 years until they were forced to take the ephedra out of it.

    Now I like Paul McKenna's hypnosis cd. It didn't take effect until I had listened for a couple of weeks, but then it kicked in big time! I also like this website http://thedailyplate.com

    And I love my treadmill. It was the cheapest one at Wally World and it's perfect.

  8. Your problem seems to be that you're going on diets instead of making lifestyle changes that you can adopt for the rest of your life.

    There is only one fail proof way to lose weight -- work out and eat healthy. Exercise 40 minutes  a day (not until you pass out) and eat around 1200 calories a day. It's impossible not to lose weight if you stick to this. I did and have lost 65 pounds and kept every ounce off for 10 years.

    A great book, too, is the Abs Diet. It's not a diet but eating habits to change the way you eat for good.
